We raised $2.5m with the goal to fix the unhealthy and nefarious aspects of the incumbent platforms.I built our React and PWA mobile clients and a pretty cool developer platform that safely executed third party JS plugins in the client and on AWS infrastructure as appropriate.Ultimately, we conceded that it wasn't possible to bootstrap or outcompete without adding the addictive hooks.
