MCC BRUSSELSMCC Brussels is providing a home for genuine policy deliberation and an in-depth exploration of issues at a time of unprecedented political polarisation. I'm delighted to be supporting its work.TEACHINGI managed the GCSE mathematics provision at MidKent College for five years. Prior to MKC I taught maths and economics at Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School. I supported the work of the Kent and Medway Maths Hub as a strategic board member.DEBATINGPreviously, as the director of the groundbreaking Debating Matters competition for 16-18 year olds, I helped to establish a unique platform for young people to engage with the complex issues confronting society in an intellectually rigorous and well informed way. During the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, I took the opportunity to reengage with the Debating Matters format to establish a debating tournament - DMGBIN - that promotes debate between British and Indian schools over Zoom.
