I learned the property management business from the ground-up, beginning with my first condo in Nashville TN to personally overseeing more than 250 unit turns and rent ups, managing multiple building life cycles and writing many checks to pay for my 'learnings' along the way. It is only after long hours and considerable effort I now feel comfortable saying I understand the local market and how to manage the many moving parts of the property management and multi-family business. Key Learning: Property management and multi-family ownership is not the simple business that "guru" books and TV make it out to be. Don't underestimate!
