A multi national company taken over by G4S. Responsible for management of the Vetting and Screening Department carrying out around 4000 pre employment checks per annum on new staff. These staff were employed in sensitive and secure environments. In addition, vetting staff working with children and vulnerable adults. Training existing staff and new Managers and HR staff within the group in employment screening.Responsible for starting up commercial arm, carrying out screening for other companies across the whole employment spectrum from Banking, IT, Engineering, Construction, Transport and Healthcare.Writing and submitting bids/tenders to obtain new clients.Project managing areas when new contracts were won and staff were TUPE'd over and that their vetting complied with the contracts.Wrote the procedures, trained the staff and obtained ISO 9001. Part of the team that wrote procedures and obtained ISO 27001.
