I leverage my technical savviness, design knowledge, business acumen, and product sense to drive favorable outcomes and ship quality products based on frequently changing customer, business, and market variables. I lead by establishing the roadmap to execute my vision. My strategy focuses on creating value and making the correct integrative set of decisions to maximize our probability of achieving the desired outcome. I make decisions based on evidence, data, research, and statistics. I also use intuition when making decisions when I only have limited information. Assumptions should be validated or invalidated with tests, experiments, and additional research within a couple of iterations so we know whether we should pivot or continue. I advocate for Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP) to increase adaptability and help manage uncertainty. I champion Agile methodologies such as lean development and user-centered design (UCD).I build a culture around people based on communication, trust, and empathy. This empowers them to do their best to deliver value. The workplace should be psychologically safe, bias-free, and a fulfilling experience. Outside of work, I love being a father to my son and providing pro bono consulting.
