About Tony Heslin

Tony Heslin began his career as an Army Paratrooper leading logistics and re-supply operations in support of military missions, capability exercises, and relief operations. In 1993, Tony entered the private sector in management roles with 3PL's Ryder and Airborne Express. In 1998, Tony transitioned to roles procuring the same services he'd delivered at the start of his career. Leading logistics operations for beverage giants Pepsi, Snapple, and Diageo, he led the development, implementation, and management of their domestic and international distribution networks. In these roles, Tony developed expertise in all modes of transportation, RFP development, procurement, supplier management, 3PL outsourcing, import/export operations, and logistics network optimization. Tony was responsible for upgrading the logistics infrastructure for these organizations, obtaining large cost savings, and increasing the reliability of their service delivery.Tony entered the chemical/plastics industry in 2005 as the General Manager of Operations for Muehlstein, a $3+ billion plastics distributor. In this executive position he led a team of 55, owned a $150 million operating budget, and was tasked with leading global logistics, purchasing, and customer service. Leveraging his now diverse supply chain background, Tony joined Siemens Healthcare in 2009 where he led a procurement organization in Connecticut. In this function, Tony and his team applied world class procurement principles managing a $200+ million spend in support of a highly technical medical device manufacturing operation. Between 2012 and 2015 Tony led worldwide operations for Lovesac, a home furnishings retailer. While there, he created the supply chain infrastructure to support their position as America's fastest growing furniture company.
