I am the founder, managing director and chief remote pilot of Queensland Drones, with almost 10 years full time continuous experience in UAV/RPAS survey mapping using LIDAR and orthogrammetry, thermal and multispectral mapping. We fly primarily DJI M300 UAVs but also operate fixed wing STOL and VTOL drones. I hold CASA class certification for Multicopters <25kg, Fixed Wing <7kg and Powered Lift (VTOL) <7kg. I have extensive experience in large and remote area mapping for renewable energy projects, environmental management, resource exploration and land development projects. I also have extensive experience in post-processing of RPAS data including LIDAR and photogrammetry, as well as production of advanced CAD outputs using GIS software. I also have extensive corporate marketing and communication experience including trade shows and tender management and I hold qualifications in telecommunications engineering.Queensland Drones is a professional, certified and insured provider of cm-precision aerial mapping, aerial drone surveys, corridor and right of way inspections, aerial asset inspections, aerial photography and aerial video using enterprise quality UAVs (drones) and a comprehensive Job Safety Management System. We work primarily with engineers, surveyors, project managers, asset managers, environmental managers, agronomists and crop consultants in Queensland and Northern NSW, however we are happy to travel anywhere in Australia or internationally to assist our valued clients.Through our processing arm, Spatial Mapping Australia, we provide comprehensive in-house processing of aerial imagery including photogrammetry, DEM/DSM/DTM, elevation and contour mapping, hydrology mapping, terrain profiling, planimetric feature mapping, multispectral analysis and more.
