Tony Winter is an accomplished and highly-regarded Chief Technology Officer who has established himself as a true innovator in the technology sector. He is currently based in Santa Barbara, California. During his tenure at QAD, Tony has played a crucial role in embracing technologies that advance agile development processes and facilitate a seamless software delivery pipeline from code-to-customer. His most notable accomplishment has been leading a multimillion-dollar project to transform a 40-year-old ERP system into a state-of-the-art, web-based SaaS application, complete with a no-code/low-code platform, best-in-class embedded analytics, and data lake technologies. Tony has successfully assessed and integrated numerous acquisitions into the company's portfolio, and has investigated cutting-edge technologies like IoT, hyper-automation, and AI through the framework of an innovation lab.Before joining QAD, Tony held various engineering and leadership positions, creating solutions for the manufacturing and retail industries. He spearheaded the adoption of early-stage internet technologies, such as ISDN, to develop globally distributed software systems for consolidated order processing, electronic point-of-sale, and warehouse automation. Throughout his career, Tony has enjoyed engaging with clients, empowering team members and fostering an innovative work atmosphere. In his spare time, Tony can be found learning new skills via YouTube to facilitate the latest project for his family, earning him the title of “daddy fix it”. Tony holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science from Staffordshire University in the UK and a US Patent for Technologies related to Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
