Tony Kerrison is Deutsche Bank’s Head of Group Technology Infrastructure (GTI) and Head of Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) for the Americas region.Tony is responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the bank’s underlying technology infrastructure, in addition to supporting the bank’s journey to cloud. This includes the design, build and commission of core technology products and their supporting data centres, networks and tooling. He provides oversight and monitoring of bank-wide platform availability, leading efforts to improve production stability and lower the bank’s risk profile. In addition, he leads Deutsche Bank technology in the Americas, leveraging his deep expertise to work closely with financial regulators, as well as providing a strong voice to the 2,000+ TDI staff across the region.Tony was previously Chief Technology Officer for Bank of America. Based in New York, Tony oversaw Global Technology Infrastructure for the Bank.Prior to this Tony was Head of Infrastructure Services at Barclays Bank responsible for Global Technology Infrastructure across the Barclays business portfolio including Barclays UK and Barclays International which includes Retail Banking, Investment Banking, and Cards.The role demands both operational management of critical services across the bank and developing a strategy, plan and execution of a full transformation to consumption based services internal and external to the bank. This involves the development of key relationships with cloud providers and strategic partners.Tony was previously the Chairman of the Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council. A group of collaborating large enterprises working with ODCA, Cloud Standards Customer Council and other organizations to determine the future of cloud computing.Tony’s experience includes early adopter technology innovation and organizational change in the United States, Europe and Asia.
