Supported a team of amazing communications and marketing professionals in facilitating AccentCare's internal and external communications, marketing, branding, creative, and public affairs presences.

Oversaw internal and external communications nationally for Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care and Seasons Healthcare Management. Focus on strategic communications, streamlining messaging, and building the Seasons brand through TRUE HOPE values.

Directed the implementation of NHPCO's advocacy program, with a focus on building grassroots capacity in key states and congressional districts. Also developed NHPCO's capacity to expand into new digital forms of communication to keep the organization on the cutting edge of current technology platforms for membership.

Worked to expand and maintain NHPCO's grassroots network of key contacts. Worked closely with hospice programs across the United States to help them develop long lasting relationships with their Members of Congress, with the goal of helping to affect positive change for the hospice and palliative care community.Managed special projects for NHPCO and the Hospice Action Network, including congressional 'fly-ins', policy symposiums and briefings, HAN's video testimonial program, and website design and maintenance.

Worked with a grassroots network of more than 60,000 Hospice Advocates, and worked closely with over 500 high-level ‘grasstops’ advocates in the hospice and palliative care community. Supported several Congressional constituent meeting conferences each year, focused on bringing hospice workers of all types to the Capitol to meet with their Senators and Representatives on behalf of the hospice community and the patients and families they serve. Duties included grassroots advocacy and education, social media strategy and implementation, event planning, and the coordination of the activities of NHPCO's Public Policy Committee.

Provided logistics support for the Public Policy Department at the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization. Worked with the Public Policy Committee, helped to coordinate the activities for the Hospice Action Network's Hill Day 2010, and provided administrative support for the Senior Vice President for the Office of Health Policy.

Managed all day-to-day aspects of the lighting department for opera productions at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Oversaw a crew of union stagehands in the implementation of complex lighting designs.

Supervised and trained a team of 16 stagehands in the operation of a $100,000 lighting rental package across multiple dance venues.
