About Tony Loyd

I am a former Fortune 500 Executive who retired early in 2014. Since then, I have been mentoring early-stage social entrepreneurs who use business to bring positive social changes. In addition, I run with people who are traditionally excluded from running spaces to create a more inclusive running community. My work in both fields is driven by my passion for social justice.Until May 2022, I hosted a podcast called Social Entrepreneur. After all this time, it still ranks in the top 1% of podcasts globally. I also wrote a best-selling book titled "Crazy Good Advice: 10 Lessons Learned from 150 Leading Social Entrepreneurs." I have given two TEDx talks. I continue to be a sought-after speaker. As an RRCA certified coach, I run with people at drug rehab centers, homeless shelters, and prison reentry programs through Mile in My Shoes. I have completed 19 marathons and qualified for the Boston Marathon 12 times.I am passionate about fighting human trafficking and serve on the board of the Stories Foundation. The foundation combats human trafficking through social impact business, awareness education, and community engagement.Additionally, I am a board member of the Twin Cities Running Club (TCRC), which is more than just a club. It is a community. TCRC provides support to runners and helps them achieve their running goals.
