Tony Lucente (Lucente Consulting) is concluding a 3+ year engagement in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to establish the Business Transformation & Corporate Governance practice for Nissan Motor Corporation's new Latin America Region. Reporting to Nissan Latin America Region Chairman, Jose Luis Valls, Tony leveraged his deep skills to establish effective organization, process and strategies to accelerate Nissan's market position in over 38 South, Central and Caribbean countries. Tony is currently transitioning his responsibilities through September and returned to the USA in June.

Completed in January 2013 on schedule and under budget, the multimillion dollar HQ relocation from Curitiba to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil included property search, negotiations, and all construction & operational activities. The current engagement has been extended to include other projects for NBA.

Tony Lucente is Director of Business Transformation - Organization Support for Nissan North America, which includes the management of Business Transformation, Program Management and Corporate Governance initiatives for the Americas. Focus areas includie: Organization Development and Business Process Reenginnering engagements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Nissan Americas functions using Six Sigma based tools and a customized methodology; Corporate Travel, Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs), Global Service Efficiencies (GSE) Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Workforce Integration @ Nissan (WIN), a groundbreaking global initiative to revolutionize the way Nissan employees work together through the delivery of a comprehensive set of collaboration tools and services within an employee portal; and, Corporate Governance, a program that provides uniform management of Delegation of Authority (DOA), corporate policies and records management the Americas aligned with Global Nissan.

President for 16 years of the Studio City Residents Association (SCRA). The SCRA was instrumental in the creation of the highly successful Studio City Farmers Market. Tony moved the SCRA beyond traditional homeowner group concerns to address crime and safety challenges, establishing a “Graffiti Patrol” program and a close working relationship with the LAPD through the SCRA’s “Partners Against Crime” program, and tackled tough social issues such as homelessness and panhandling, through the groundbreaking “Studio City Cares” initiative. He was an appointee of LA City Mayor James Hahn to the LA Board of Neighborhood Commissioners, and previously served as a Mayor Riordan appointee to South Valley Area Planning Commission and the Volunteer Neighborhood Oversight Committee for the Los Angeles River Beautification project. Appointee by Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky to the LA County Citizens Economy and Efficiency Commission, vice chairman of Project Restore for Los Angeles City, president of the Studio City Beautification Association. Previously served for 8 years on the Ventura/Cahuenga Blvd. Specific Plan Review Board.

National Accounts Manager for major automotive accounts (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, etc) in LA. Three year appointment as member of team to launch a wholly owned affiliate in Australia.
