I was responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the organization’s branding, communications, marketing, advertising, activation, and sales initiatives. I was part of the senior leadership team and am integral to guiding and developing strategy, establishing company-wide goals and direction, company growth, and maximizing economic impact for the destination.

As part of the senior management team, I was responsible and accountable for all marketing and sales for Zephyr Cove Resort, Lake Tahoe Cruises, and Lake Tahoe Adventures. Product included the M.S. Dixie II, a 520-passenger vessel; an 82-foot luxury yacht; 28 cabins and 5 lodge units; a 93 space RV park; 57 campsites; a full-service restaurant; marina; beach bar & grill; popular wedding and reception site; a summer ATV and RZR tour business; and a winter snowmobile operation. ► Marketing and sales initiatives and programs resulted in the reversal of continued annual revenue decline, with measurable YOY revenue growth.► Generated revenue of over $12 Million with a marketing budget of less than $400,000

I was retained to execute an establishment and development project to bring Europe’s largest ski and snowboard rental company to North America, with involvement in all aspects of setting up and running a new business. In addition to business-to-business development, I executed marketing efforts focused on driving direct consumer business through various integrated marketing and PR initiatives. ► Successful project development resulted in the North American network growing from zero to over 50 independent partner ski and snowboard rental stores.

I directed all corporate international marketing & sales personnel and associated marketing & sales efforts for their mountain-related products and a portfolio of luxury hotels in North America. At the time they also had a property on St. Lucia in the Caribbean.The marketing budget was spent on a cooperative basis with 3rd party vendor partners to leverage funds, stretch the dollars, and provide the ability to measure ROI and success.► Total international net sales increased by 20% during my tenure, to over $10 Million
