Following the campaign, the BIA awarded Tony with its 2020 Political Achievement Award for Outstanding Service to the industry.In the summer of 2021, Tony quarterbacked a team of consultants and staff from San Diego Unified and The San Diego Foundation who created and launched Level Up SD. The program became the largest ever summer enrichment program for San Diego students – more than 30,000 students participated in #LevelUpSD.
