Fixed Wing Base Manager - Nelson Airport.My role was as a pilot and as the Fixed Wing Base Manager. New Zealand Flying Doctor Service provide contracted Air Ambulance aircraft to various Health Boards around New Zealand. During my tenure I introduced two aircraft that saw an improvement to the level of service we were providing to the the local Health Board. I oversaw pilot operations and general business operations. This involved working alongside the company helicopter division that also provided aeromedical services. If aircraft availability allowed, I would facilitate private charter flights (non ambulance) for our aircraft.

As the owner of Flight Corporation Ltd I oversaw the day to day running of the company and its staff. Operating aircraft on tourism flights around the wider Nelson/Marlborough area. Flight Corporation was the first company to ever be awarded the contract to operate the local Air Ambulance service for the Nelson/Marlborough District Health Board, servicing their two regional hospitals. This involved flying the Health Board's patients to and from hospitals around New Zealand.
