I am an experienced Edinburgh based Scottish voiceover and presenter, with over 25 years of experience working in broadcasting. I would describe myself as having a warm, smooth, clear and friendly voice that is adaptable to suit a wide range of projects. Previous work includes voicing a cancer charity animation, a documentary on a flood prevention project in the Borders and numerous radio commercials. My most recent projects have included being the voice of the Scottish Marathon festival for broadcast on Capital/Heart, and voicing the Scottish Book Trust 2023 campaign.

I initially joined the station as a weekend breakfast presenter in February 2018 however, a permanent full-time role was created for me within a few months of me being on air. I currently present the daytime show from 10am until 2pm, Monday to Friday. I am responsible for creating and producing all my own show content and on-air output on these showsI produce the majority of the Central FM commercials and station imaging, liaising with sales, clients, and voiceover artists to ensure timescales are met and audio is approved before going on air. Many of the commercials I have produced have also aired on both Forth and Kingdom FMI regularly add music and imaging to the Central FM Zetta database, edit show logs and schedules using GSelector softwareExtensive production experience: I work on a wide variety of audio from show promos through to interviews and audio to promote our charity partnerI installed, setup and manage the station audio logger and regularly pull audio from which I edit and send out to clients or use to create promos for the stationI am responsible for all aspects of the station website including migration from a legacy site to a new Content Management System, creating and editing content, sourcing and preparing graphics and advertising banners, etcI am often promoting events and station campaigns on social media, producing meaningful stats and collating data for post campaign analysis

I presented and produced a weekly 2-hour evening show which featured a rundown of Scottish Forces community events, introductions to packages/news features, weekend entertainment events, reviews and other relevant contentAfter only 3 months on air, I was asked to step in last minute and cover the Breakfast show for 2 weeks as well as anchor the show during an OB feeding back to the studioI produced features and interviews which were broadcast globally on Totally Connected on the BFBS worldwide network

I provided DJ’s, Sound Engineers, sound equipment and technical support to venues and clients to some of the biggest entertainment venues in Scotland. I nurtured talent, trained staff, and ensured a unified approach to our entertainment offering. I operated a successful business with a team of 20 employees of whom I interviewed and recruited to ensure my business delivered an exceptional service to my clients Provision of Fluid People services from corporate giants to independent businesses.
