• Excellent policy development and analytical skills, gained in a variety of high profile and complex policy areas and with experience of working for various high profile organisations• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as wide experience of influencing public policy, working with external and internal communications teams on corporate repositioning and giving public evidence, including to Parliamentary Select Committees• Track record of success in designing and delivering corporate strategy and organisational change, including restructuring, and engaging staff and external stakeholders behind corporate goals• Wide public affairs experience and strong expertise in engaging stakeholders effectively to influence change, maximise strategic alignment and build influential alliances• Exceptional political antennae and solid knowledge of central government and working effectively with the public sector at senior levels• Strong senior leadership skills and experience of developing and managing multidisciplinary teams and resources effectively to plan work and deliver results efficiently, on time and to the highest standards
