I am currently in my ninth year of working in the field of education, where I work as a co-teacher in the career tech setting and also teach in the multiple disabilities classroom. While in education I have worked as a Mild-to-Moderate Intervention in the resource room and co-teaching setting at the middle and high school levels for five years. Also, I was a Site Coordinator for three years at Lancaster High School, where I managed the PBIS programming, provided attendance interventions for truant students and their families, provided lessons in SEL for students, organized peer support groups for staff, provided training on restorative practices, and trauma-informed care for staff. I am currently in my eighth year of experience as a Varsity girl's throws coach at the high school level. Where I have had the privilege to coach multiple Ohio Capital Conference (OCC) champions in the Shot Put and Discus. Also, I have coached multiple OATCCC Indoor State qualifiers and All-Ohio athletes in the events of Shot Put and Weight Throw (1 state champion). Finally, I have coached two Indoor National Qualifiers in Weight Throw, two Outdoor National Qualifier in Hammer Throw (1all-American), and a three-time top eight finisher in the Ohio Hammer Meet. Outside of coaching track and field I previously coached high school football for five years ranging from the division five, four, and one levels. While in undergraduate college I was the vice-president of the student council for exceptional children and created an adaptive basketball program from the fall of 2013 through the spring of 2014 called Hoops for Joy for students and adults, which was staffed by students from the intervention specialist program, sports marketing, and osteopathic medicine programs at Ohio University.
