The telco operated as a full service provider of wireless,broadband and wireline services on 4 islands. the company was formerly The Micronesian Telecommuncation Company which was a Verizon operating Company.

As General Manager of Verizon Micronesia, was responsible for the successful 60 million dollar sale of the property to Global investors. The sales process required strong interface with the investment group, the banks responsible for due diligence, US Federal and local government regulatory commissions. While selling the company, the 145 person operating team was required to maintain growth targets for all product segments, primarily in the wireless and broadband areas. The aforementioned involved billing system upgrades, wireless equipment and software changes and broadband plant enhancements. The sales process extended due to a CFIUS review by the US Treasury department and the Department of Homeland Security review in addition to the regular Federal Communications Commission process. Post sale of the company, elected to stay with the new entity as its Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors. The executive team garnered a 25 million dollar investment from Sumitomo Corporation of Japan.

This 21,000 line full service telecommunications company had conducted business in Wireline, Wireless, Broadband, Centrex, Directory, Operator and private line services. MTC still operates as Pacific Telecommunications Inc. My team completed the 60 million dollar sale of this property to a foreign company, only the second Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) in the United States to be sold to a foreign company.

As Sales and Marketing Manager GTE International, Directed the efforts of the Sales and Marketing team at Micronesian Telecommunications a wholly owned subsidiary of GTE. The Sales and Marketing Team was responsible for growing revenue through direct sales of wireline and wireless telecommunications services.

Responsible for delivering 120 million dollars in worldwide Calling Card revenue through International Partner Marketing alliances. Developed and managed relationships with International Airlines, Banks and Credit card companies throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Achieved new revenue growth in each Partner group using direct response techniques, mailing in the multimillion-piece range.
