I am a qualified Engineer (Computer Systems). Coupled with my Electrical Trades, Electronic Trades, and many years' experience with real world solutions, starting with Business Analysis, through development and Project Management, to release and deploy. I am a little different in that I am a business person firstly and a technologist second (Though I am a technologist at heart), I have more recently being involved in the Data Scientist space, though not "formally qualified" as such, have done all of the requirements. I get the big picture, I enjoy being gobsmacked with unusual situations requiring innovative situations. Take me out of my comfort zone and I perform at my best. Business I get, people I get, situations I get, innovation I get, I manage but often in my own way. BUT I DO GET RESULTS! And without taking myself seriously. Ok I like a laugh - I do have a formal resume but that is for the process and not my real life story.My track record of achievements, while not earth shattering work, still work many years from when they were designed/implemented. Long term stability/scalability is important to me, as is the right solution to get it there. Growth, expansion and success are important . Leading a team to success that is shared is awesome.Comfortable building software myself, more than happy to make decisions (with valued input) to provide the best solutions possible, I lead by example, and defend my team strongly. Of late I have been encroaching into the Data Scientist space, and getting my hands wet with SAP CRM and PowerBI, getting some useful results too - disparate data sources, metrics, dashboards, to enable one or two click results sets to be displayed, giving meaningful business insights.I can do my own recruiting, team management and development, I can get my head around complex financials including budgeting and forecasting.
