Tony Murphy is a co-founder and Board Director of Daon Group. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the technology arena to his role at Daon. I am a seasoned executive with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. I have been involved in three start-ups; one in biometrics and identity management and two in the telecommunications sector. In all I have been a strong hands-on sales leader and individual contributor. Sales management and key negotiator on strategic sales contracts. My experience spans Ireland, Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. As the Managing Director of Daon Solutions, Murphy is responsible for P&L, the overall strategy, including the company's worldwide sales, development, services and strategic alliance efforts as Daon brings its identity assurance technology to agencies around the globe. During his tenure at Daon as Group COO, Murphy has successfully overseen the company's growth into one of the premier providers of biometric and identity services technology. He’s managed and negotiated complex sales and business relationships to completion. I love the sense of achievement in out-maneuvering our competitors and winning key sales opportunities across the world.
