DIRECTOR PROCUREMENT, ASIA PACIFIC(August 2008 - February 2010)- Member of the Asia Pacific Regional Executive Team reporting to the President and part of the Global Procurement Executive Team functionally reporting to the Global CPO.- Managed a team of 100+ associates across 12 countries engaged in various operations including manufacturing, distribution and retail sales & marketing.- Managed expenditure in excess of $2 billion across Indirect, Raw Materials and Capital categories.- Created a global indirects low cost country sourcing function in Shanghai, servicing Goodyear operations worldwide. - Lead a Procurement Transformation Program encompassing restructuring of regional and local procurement teams, standardising policies & processes, improving reporting / forecasting and revamping procurement systems.- Integrated the regional and local procurement functions into the global procurement operations.- Executive sponsor of the Global IT Procurement Council.- Member of the Asia Pacific Executive S&OP Team.DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC SOURCING & CPO, AUSTRALASIA(March 2005 - August 2008)-Member of the South Pacific Tyres Executive Team reporting directly to the CEO.- Established a strategic sourcing & procurement function capable of playing a major role in the company's drive towards establishing a competitive and sustainable cost structure.- Managed the procurement function across Australia and New Zealand responsible for all indirect, raw materials and capital spend relating to over 420 company owned retail stores, 2 large-scale tyre manufacturing plants, 12 retreading sites and 9 distribution centres.
