I teach a variety of cuisines during in-person hands on cooking classes. Class sizes range from 2 - 16 people. Teaching involves before class “mis en place” of all ingredients and tools necessary for the students to produce the menu advertised for the class. During the class my objective is to keep my hands “clean” by guiding and enabling the students to produce the meal they will enjoy at the end of the session. This includes explaining some of the science of cooking as well as demonstrating the skills the students need to develop as well as making sure everyone maintains a clean and safe environment in the kitchen.

For Shell Lubricants - Supply Chain Management - Managed a portfolio of vendor-managed projects that upgraded process logic controllers (PLC) and servers managing automated manufacturing processes at Shell Lubricant Plants (US, Latin America, and Europe) $1.5M spend. Led 350K effort to design develop and deploy a touch-less goods issued and goods receipt process between Shell and two 3rd Party Logistics providers.Assumed project management responsibilities mid-project for a 2.5 Million USD upgrade to APO including $300 K of new hardware. Assumed responsibility for planning and implementing three simultaneous infrastructure projects for US Lubes: EMC Storage Upgrade ($3 Million USD), Disaster Recovery Services ($1 Million USD and GOPENT ($950,000 USD). For the disaster recovery project developed RFP document and worked with Procurement to develop a procurement strategy that included an online bid.

Shell People Services - Cyborg Base Support - Assumed responsibility for directing the work effort of Shell People Services-Cyborg Base Support Group (staff of 8) four months before Shell People Go Live. Managed a ten page issue list, three major benefit reconciliation efforts, prepared and tested a contingency effort for Pennzoil Quaker State, established a new interface to Talx Corporation's employment verification service "The Work Number," completed year-end W-2 processing, and validated "The Historical Database," a repository for legacy data. ($1 Million).Infineum - Global SAP Infrastructure Hosting - Planned and implemented a three year, $12 Million (fixed bid), Global SAP Hosting Service for Infineum, a joint venture of Shell Chemicals and Exxon. In order to meet special client business needs, created a unique support model that implemented hardware in Europe but delivered day-to-day support from US. Final landscape delivered three SAP components: R/3, Business Warehouse and Advanced Planner and Optimizer as well as a number of bolt-on services such as Control-M (job scheduling), Rev-Trak, Faxination, and a Shell developed centralized printing facility. Planned and conducted three annual disaster/recovery tests in Europe. Developed bids that addressed the customer'sunique telecommunications requirements. This project was recognized in Spring of 2003 with a success story article in an in-house publication, "The I."Chemical Products - Project Corona - Planned and implemented three clones of SAP-IT, a truck and rail logistics management package that communicates with SAP. ($400,000).Shell Services Intl - Billing Excellence - analyzed and developed plans for the Master Contact Database ($90,000

Performance Reporting Tool - Directed the planning and subsequent execution of a six-month, $640,000 project to develop a prototype financial reporting system for Amoco Energy International. Completed project on time and on budget All members of the team received a recognition and reward bonus from client management.For Amoco Corporation-Windows 95 Evaluation - As part of an 18 month, $25,000,000 project that evaluated and implemented Windows 95 worldwide for Amoco, planned and coordinated the effort of 40 part time developers located across Amoco in estimating the worldwide impact of switching to Windows 95.For Amoco Worldwide Construction and Engineering - Cost Engineering Database - developed a winning project proposal to direct the planning and subsequent execution of a two year, $2,000,000 project to design, build and implement a 200 table database aimed at assisting Amoco's Worldwide Engineering and Construction Cost Engineering Department in an effort to improve the accuracy of cost estimates for major capital projects. Customer management recognized the team's effort with recognition and reward bonus as well as a "Success Story" article published in an in-house publication.As part of a six month, $10,000,000 effort which planned and coordinated the transfer of 300 applications and 2,000 items of IT related hardware for a new 750 person facility, planned and directed the effort of three full time developers supplemented by 25 part time developers who were responsible for ensuring that all Amoco developed applications were transferred to the new environment and were working correctly.
