    Contract consultant to Nunawadding Toyota (and Southbank Motors), responsible for repairing and developing their fixed operations divisions (Parts & Service). I was charged with “cleaning up” the fixed operations division so that the business could achieve maximum price sold by the appointed liquidators. I was initially given a 12 month however within 9 months we had not only cleaned the business up but we had traded the business out of debt. As a result the owners, Coopers & Lybrand held onto the business for an additional year. Key projects included implementing customer retention and loyalty programs which lifted use of in house ERP solution (Reynolds & Reynolds software solution) from approximately 30% to 95%, lifting vehicles serviced from 50 to over 120 vehicles per day, reducing stock holding by $300,000, restructuring operations as well as creating stock ordering efficiencies. I was able to remove inefficient and non-compliant staff, implement bonus and other incentive programmes for employees and create a team environment where previously there was only descent. The role had 30 direct reports. Experiences/Achievements:- Turned fixed operations from losing $80,000 per month to making a profit within 8 weeks- Being a positive influence in the staff’s lives- Developed driveway booking system and (hugely) increased staff efficiencies- Audited accounts system and uncovered fraud undertaken by senior staff- Turned the business into a saleable entity- Implemented a community program that enabled Nunawadding Toyota to give over 3,000 Christmas presents to local child welfare agencies
