After a fruitful 3 years of building experience and a solid reputation within the company, a change of role was identified and executed in May 2012 to Head of Global Business Development. The change of role came with a rapid shift in focus, charged with expanding the Avios collection partnerships across key markets as well as exploring market potential in new markets with prolonged periods spent across Asia.Successfully overcame the challenge of inheriting a small team of 3 people, from a standing start and initiating the rapid growth and progression of a new business pipeline valued close to £13m.

Accountable for managing and delivering marketing activities to the base of 1.9m active Airmiles members and a wider remit of de-conflicting marketing activities across partner channels, which required significant communication with a number of departments and agencies. A key function of the role was the management of a team of 23 personnel, comprising of Campaign Data Analysts, Campaign Managers and Studio & Production, including all reporting activity, mentoring and personal development. Integral involvement in the planning and execution of the transition from Airmiles to Avios, (a 12-month project), and successful implementation of all associated marketing communications.
