In my role as a senior specialist under the Merck Print Platform I'm responsible for the administration and health of the existing Merck print fleet, This includes my primary roles as the SAP Printing administrator using Hewlett Packard Output Manager (HPOM) and as an analyst on our 3D printing innovation team. 3D Printing LabMerck has committed to using 3D printing to provide innovation and support for all facets of its business. We've done work with groups from the molecule design team all the way down to manufacturing. I have hands on operational and maintenance experience with the following 3D Printing devices:*3DS Projet 460 *Formlabs Form1 *Makerbot Replicator *Stratasys Dimension *RepRap Prusa FDM printer*Fortus 450 *Connex 350*Project 660*EOS Formiga P110I also am familiar with the variety of materials used in these printers as well as the post processing and curing methods.HP Output Manager Merck uses SAP as its primary ERP system and I administer and own the printing solution for our global operations. The system runs on a UNIX HP Superdome and controls over 4,000 printers with a primary focus on our manufacturing operations which must meet a critical up-time. I work with the SAP basis team for day to day support tasks as well as join more comprehensive launch teams to provide high level support for country rollouts of SAP (Merck has implemented the largest single instance SAP rollout in the industry and I personally was responsible for all the printing side work for this achievement) Managed Print Merck has transitioned to a managed print fleet integrated with badge readers and I was on the team that did the rollout and configuration of these devices. My primary role now on the managed print team is to pull the monthly metrics on the devices and distill the numbers down and present them to management in a standardized format as well as analyze the numbers to determine if there are any issues that need to be addressed.

In my role as part of infrastructure support I took on a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in Merck's infrastructure and support department. *Started as a desktop support analyst for Merck's MMD division providing hands on support and operational work across the NJ and PA sites. *When Merck opened its MMD building in NJ I headed up the team to coordinate the moving and connecting of computers and devices as well as providing a role as team leader for the support staff - a role in which I monitored the support metrics and provided support to resolve issues*Wrote a backup program to resolve an issue with files being lost during computer upgrades - this program was eventually adopted globally by the company as the standard tool for user data migrations*Took on a leadership role with our company wide Windows XP migration. I worked with the packaging team to rewrite the scripts to be Windows XP compliant and assumed responsibility for scheduling and overseeing the after hours work of migrating all the computers.
