-Oversee the agency's Human Resource, Finance, and Maintenance functions.-Advise the CEO and senior management team regarding financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, operating plans, and policy matters.-In collaboration with the CEO, provide internal/external communications and public relations for the agency.-Represent the organization externally, with key partners and foster ongoing positive relations with the organization’s key constituencies including board members, Finance Committees, financial institutions, investors, foundation, executives, auditors, public officials, legal and accounting firm relationships. Thus ensuring and maintaining a positive image with the public regarding the mission and purpose of The Neighborhood House, Inc -Analyze operational performance, budgetary issues, and financial performance at macro and micro levels and help develop plans to anticipate and address deviations or shortfalls.-Assumes ultimate responsibility for making all bank deposits; maintenance and reconcilement of all bank accounts for NHI.-Acts as key player in the development of broad mission-oriented goals and objectives and helps develop the operating strategies to attain those goals-Serves as a liaison between Department Directors and Accountant for all financial matters to include preparation of pertinent documents for out-side auditors.-Helps establish and execute organizational priorities on weekly, monthly, and long-term basis-Responsible for the accurate processing of all agency account receivables to include payments to vendors, and utilities.

-Recruit, interview and select prospective employees for vacant positions.-Consultant to department managers on conducting staff performance appraisals.-Handle staff grievances and employee discipline.-Revise, update, and execute agency personnel policies and procedures.-Ensure consistent accuracy of personnel files for annual review by auditors.-Write job descriptions and job postings.-Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive salary packages.-Process compensation for pension plan benefits.

Responsible for managing the angency's human resource function as well as overseeing 10 staff members, 5 Masters level college interns and 3 programs in the Youth Services Department.
