As President of this family owned dinner attraction, which features 60 horses, 16 different acts,over 200 employees and seating for 1,200 guests, my responsibilities were to monitor the progress of business strategies and maximize profits while maintaining a high level of customer service. I increased revenue from $5.3m to $12m by changing the strategy of the sales department to go for volume rather than rate. Once volume was achieved than the strategy was to focus on rate. Company was recipient of the #1 Dinner Show in Orlando and Golden Spoon award.

As General Manager of this 292 room hotel with 16,000 sq ft of meeting space, 1 restaurant, coffee shop and room service, my immediate priorities were to reorganize a underachieving sales department and less than professional food operation as well as to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and expectations. The end result was sales goals were met and exceeded by 22% at the end of 6 months and food covers increased 10% which in turn increased revenue by 10%.

Rock Island, Illinois

Responsible for day to day operations and its staff of 175 room hotel with 9,000 sq ft of meeting space, 2 restaurants, coffee shop and room service. Organized and directed all hotel services including front of the house, food and beverage operations and housekeeping. Increased revenue 35% by the 2nd year. Company transfer to Ogden, UT property.
