My career has placed me in a variety of teaching and leadership roles that have equipped me to successfully demonstrate and lead effective pedagogical improvement through the use of evidence based decision making. I believe that the teaching and leadership skills and attributes that I have brought to these positions clearly demonstrate my capacity to successfully undertake the role of an educational leader. The leadership responsibilities that I have successfully undertaken have included; strategic planning related to broad school improvement, inclusion of special needs and gifted students, development of pastoral care and academic programs within a multicultural and multi-faith student body, provision of professional development and performance management structures to address the identified needs of staff and management of financial and physical resources in a whole school context.
