I am a highly motivated and dedicated Health, Safety, Risk and Compliance leader with an engineering background. My career has been spent working for large complex organisations in a high-risk, heavily regulated and scrutinised industry, with 11 years’ experience as a senior and executive manager responsible for Health and Safety (WHS). During the past 7 years’ I have also been the organisations Enterprise Risk Manager and managed the Compliance & Assurance function. This experience combined with Masters level qualifications and 25 years with the NSW Mines Rescue Service has equipped me with an extensive and unique skillset.I have led and managed significant projects and been the WHS Lead in a cross-functional team overseeing a major construction project. I have developed and implemented policies, management systems and initiatives in WHS, Risk, Compliance and Assurance/Quality, and been accountable for managing these management frameworks, procedures and IT systems. I have been a thought leader for the company, providing insight regarding its strategic direction in WHS, Risk and Compliance as well as supporting, mentoring and training senior management teams, the Executive and staff in these areas.
