Director of Business Development for the BAE Systems Stafford/Quantico and Dahlgren, Virginia Operations. Developed the Strategic Plan and led the Capture and Propsal processes for submissions for new work and new customers. Contracts awarded nearly doubled the revenue in the Stafford/Quantico facility in less than 3 years. Responsible for long-term positioning and capture for opportunities related to Maritime Programs and Marine Corps. Provided support to the AEGIS Program Office beginning in December 1988 with Techmatics and continued after the acquisisition of Techmatics by Anteon through July 2004. During this period served in several management positions up to Vice President. Was responsible for technical, contractual and financial performance of multiple high level contracts supporting: PEO IWS 1.0 Systems Engineering for AEGIS; PEO IWS 1.0 Aegis Ship Integration and Test; Lockheed Martin MS2 Aegis Destroyer Integration and Test; PEO Ships Aegis LIve Fire Test & Evaluation (LFT&E); Lockheed Martin MS2 Aegis Technial Manuals; AEGIS TECHREP; NSWC DD LIfetime Support Engineering Agent (LSEA); PMS 210 Airborne Mine Laser Detection Systerm (AMLDS) program; Defense Supply Center - Philadelphia Network System Administration. Managed a staff of engineers and anlaysts in facilities in Washington, DC, Crystal City VA, Moorestown NJ, Bath Maine and Pascagoula, Mississippi Responsible for business devleopment that sustained a steady growth througout this period. Anteon received an award fee score of 100 for the first time in company history on the Lockheed Martin - MS2 Ship Integration and Test contract and achieved an average award fee score above 99 through over 5 years of performance.

Responsible for contractual, technical and financial performance on contracts supporting the AEGIS Program Office Combat System Integration Branch (PMS 400B3) and on support contract to the AEGIS Combat System Engineering Agent (Lockheed Martin).

Was responsible for technical tasks associated with the integration of the FFG 7 class combat system: development of test configuration management documents, modification of test procedures, development of Integrated Test Package (ITP) and Post Shakedown Availability(PSA) testing. Provided liaison between NAVSEA FFG 7 Class ship acquisition managers and NSWSES departments for combat system test requirements, sea tasks and various combat system and new construction support issues. Provided support to Intermarine, USA in the development of a test and trials program for the MHC 51 class.

Was responsible for technical, contractual and financial performance on NAVSEA contract supporting SEA 9051/CEL MS-1 AND SEA 9052/CEL MS-2 and a NAVSEA contract supporting SEA 61Y. Provided programmatic support to NAVSEA (SEA 9052/CEL MS-1) in supply, provisioning and allowance. Products included Acquisition Guides, Timely Spares Provisioning Manuals and NAVSEA Policy and Procedures Directives.
