Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Law Enforcement (LE), Counter-terrorism (CT), and Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) matters involving the U.S. Navy's interface with civilian law enforcement agencies. U.S. Fleet Forces Command adviser for U.S. Navy Anti-terrorism exercise Solid Curtain. Subject matter expertise for this exercise pertains to evaluation of scripted "terrorist attack scenarios" upon Navy Regions and Numbered Fleets.

Assigned by NCIS Norfolk as the N2 (Senior Intelligence Adviser) for Commander (2 Star), Navy Region mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA. Provided daily Counterintelligence (CI), Counter Terrorism (CT), & Law Enforcement (LE) support to Navy seniors (Flag Level) as a Subject Matter Expert. Participation as the NCIS Representative to the Crisis Action Team for the Regional Operations Center exercises required merging the Counterintelligence mission with Anti Terrorism/Force Protection solutions. All tasking in this position demanded strong direct support to Senior USN Executives at Navy Region Mid-Atlantic.

Accomplished real time outconus Counter Terrorism, Counterintelligence, and Anti Terrorism/Force Protection support to USN ships visiting deep draft ports by coordinating with host country agencies including customs, law enforcement, military, and port authorities, immediately prior to the ship's arrival. Provided critical information obtained from host country agencies to USN ships upon arrival in foreign port. 2001 Tempory Duty outconus assignment.

Primarily worked second shift, 4 PM to 12 Midnight. First two (2) years were dedicated to a walking beat in a downtown area. The remaining six (6) years were devoted to mobile unit patrol.
