In my more than 30 years in intellectual property, I have maintained a practice in all aspects of intellectual property rights. I work closely with my clients, ranging from electronics and industrial equipment companies to games and consumer products firms, to develop strategies for protecting their intellectual property assets. They appreciate our proactive approach to providing services and strategic advice.My practice focuses on negotiations in inter parte matters, state and federal court litigation in initial and appellate jurisdictions, and administrative agency representation, including appeals before the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, the International Trade Commission, and multiple courts concerning patents, patent interferences, trademarks, trademark oppositions, trademark cancellations, non-compete/non-disclosure agreements, employment agreements, joint development agreements, unfair competition, trademark infringement and Internet cyber squatting. I counsel clients in an array of technologies, including identification systems, labeling equipment, security systems, cameras, fiber optics, electronics, papermaking, safety garments, games, toys, drug delivery systems, motor vehicle components and systems, and medical equipment.I have presented at intellectual property seminars throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, and served as a Scholar-in-Residence for Legal Studies at Temple University's Fox School of Business.Admissions: I am a registered patent attorney in both the USPTO and the Canadian Patent Office.I am admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal, Third, Fourth and Ninth Circuits, and U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Eastern District of Michigan, the District of Nebraska and the District of Colorado.
