- Managing hardware electronics sustainment project with team of Engineers, Production, Global Support, and other key stakeholders, such as coming up with project plan, requirements/ specification, and project report. - Performing risk assessment, hazard analysis and FMECA.- Designing prototype for circuit and board design changes that are driven by either reliability, sustainment, or new product development.- Designing test plan and test cases for verification activities, such as EMC, ESD temperature variation, vibration, signal integrity and instrument level tests.- Liaising with supplier to come up with ideal test strategy for testing boards. - Involve in quality process improvement, such as introduction of FIDES reliability prediction method and speed design review. - Designing process control plan for design changes to be introduced to production.- Providing technical electronics design assistance and problem solving investigation to any reliability issues encountered from Production and Global Support teams. - Managing the impact of the changes on safety and environmental standards, such as UL 61010, European RoHS2.

- Provided design assistance to Engineers from the start to the end of the project. This involves designing a mechanical prototype in Solidworks, then making the actual mechanical prototype, designing the electronic circuit and circuit board, checking the quality and testing and reviewing the overall design.- Improved the design of the security features on the PINPad units- Assisted in debugging common problems of customer returned units- Assisted in quality control of the products during design, production, and assembly- Liaised with component suppliers, board manufacturers, circuit assembler, and test lab from the beginning to the end of the project.- Produced required documentation to Quest Documentation Standards including Engineering change order, rework instruction, concession note and test plans.- Produced and maintained the bill of material (BOM) of the production units- Soldered and desoldered various types of through-hole or SMD components- Familiar with EMV, PCI, APCA certifications, and industry standards such as C tick, A tick, NZ Telecomm and Safety standards (ASNZS60950.1), IPC standards (2221, 2222, SM-782A, 7351A).
