Plan and Implement Security Infrastructure and Policy for the state of Georgia’s educational system. Oversee enterprise analysis, design and configuration. Resolve and develop solutions relating to enterprise. Prepare information system documentation. Troubleshoot network breaches and virus attacks.Key Projects & Accomplishments  Took the lead in designing and implementing an extensive virtual network replica of GADOE’s production network using GNS3 and VMware.  Surveyed, designed, and installed the Wireless solution for GADOE. Configured redundant Cisco WLC 4400’s and WCS to centralize management and security and provide client and WAP rogue detection and prevention. Upgraded dense areas of network with Xirrus wireless arrays. Planned, designed and implemented Core Switch conversion from Nortel 8600 with internal Alteon Load Balancers to Cisco 3550’s with external F5 Load Balancers for Georgia’s web server farms. Configure and maintain several FW platforms including Palo Alto and Fortinet. Wrote automation scripts to take advantage of the restful API of our NGFW appliances. These scripts allow us to make our firewalls respond to various security findings from our various Netflow analyzers.
