• Established a new UK Mid Corporate Relationship Team following the implementation of the Bank’s ‘Ring Fence Programme’. Previously, all clients had been served through a Regional model irrespective of size or complexity • Designed and Created the Strategic plan resulting in a new team of 500 people being established, 230 of which were senior Relationship Directors.The new team was pan UK, serving 6,000 SME’s via 20 dedicated offices • The plan had four pillars: Industry Alignment, Business Development, Faster End to End delivery and People Development. A new CRM tool was embedded to monitor progress and an excellent sales management culture was established

• Designed and Led the Client Programme to improve the equity returns for the 300 largest consumers of capital in the Corporate Bank (FTSE 350 or equivalent size Private Companies) • Created and delivered an intense training and upskilling programme on influencing skills at C-Suite level and knowledge of non-capital product solutions to a team of 75 selected people including 30 Senior Relationship Directors. Introduced internal capital committees • Achieved agreement to the programme from senior management across all relevant business units including Investment Banking, Wealth and Barclaycard. • Corporate Bank Executive Committee member. Reporting to CEO, responsible for all UK clients of Corporate Bank and associated Financial Performance including Income Growth and Risk Management. Regulated by both FCA and PRA • Merged the UK Consumer and Corporate front line business to form a business with 6,000 employees managing one million clients ranging from start-up to PLC • Developed the Strategic Plan which was presented and agreed at Executive Committee including a new client segmentation approach, revised inter-company agreements across the Group, the creation of new Direct Model and enhanced employee engagement • All changes agreed and approved by Regulators, particularly FCA. Internal Compliance and Audits passed

Working with civic leaders, key Government stakeholders and local businesses to help drive the Northern Powerhouse vision • Represented Barclays. 12,000 employed in the Region including Global IT Headquarters.
