Ran a product development lab for Bluestone Software (acquired by HP) that built an award-winning toolkit for mobile access to Java Enterprise web applications. Served as VP of engineering for a dot-com startup and VP of product development for another startup. Strong track record of conceiving and building innovative software products and systems. Long term interest in global issues related to technology, policy, and economic development. Have given talks in 25 countries, and visited more than 75. Awarded ACM Fellow and IEEE Life Fellow status for work on software engineering environments, IFIP Fellow and ISPMA Fellow status for career achievements.
