IT SME who collaborates with system engineers, developers, clients, internal departments, and all layers of management to deliver our CAD/AVL application to our client's properties.Lead Design/Lead Network Engineer – IT and network related designs including IP schemes, VLAN segmentation, naming conventions, wireless network design, LAN infrastructure design, security, documentation, and bill of material including hardware, software, and licensing.VMWare/Microsoft/Virtualized environments – Provide high-level support for customer network implementations that include using VMWare HA (High Availability), DRS (distributed resource scheduler), Microsoft Clustering, shared storage, and disaster recovery. Configure all virtual machines to spec including roles/features, IIS, certificates, 3rd party software, security, and verify communications.Maintenance Support – Maintain client systems based on contractual obligations, which include operating systems, vehicle communications, wireless networking, LAN infrastructure, and faulty hardware.Client Testing – Use lab infrastructure to perform proof of concept testing before implementing to the field/production.Infrastructure Engineer – Manage infrastructure of a small business which includes Cisco routers, ASA firewalls, Nexus switches, Catalyst switches, Wireless LAN Controller, and many ESXI Hosts (Nutanix) using VMWare.Management/Training – Provide leadership to management by reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, giving recommendations, and training new employees during their duration in my department.Accomplishments – Network design for the 7th largest transit agency in Final Design Review, TMS first system in the cloud, 3 fixed end vehicle systems from start to finish, and provided many other solutions to clients.
