I am excited to be leading the development and delivery of an ambitious digital transformation portfolio (>£10m) within a leading London university. The portfolio I lead is delivering several key changes within the university, providing modern best-in-class digital services that enhance the student experience through improved business practices.I am shaping and building a PMO capability to help grow the rigour of project management through improved information management, reporting and oversight, reducing risk and cost. I am creating robust governance for the portfolio, and engaging with senior stakeholders from across the organisation. I report to the CIO, and regularly work with other C-suite leaders. As a figurehead for the portfolio, I present to the Senior Leadership Team and committees of Council.

I am happy to be supporting an established and successful IT services company in developing a new strategy, target operating model, and organisational design. I led the development of new leadership role descriptions, and facilitated the search for excellent candidates. I arranged and delivered workshop sessions to generate ideas for the strategy, and wrote the strategy and KPIs. I am also developing key policies to support the company with post-pandemic ways of working, and created the company's Cyber Essentials submission.

I was proud to lead the strategic change portfolio and Enterprise Portfolio Management Office for a world-leading research University, reporting to the COO (VP Operations) and responsible for a team of 24 project and programme managers, business change managers, portfolio analyst and other specialist roles.The strategic change portfolio was the primary vehicle for realising the University's new strategy, made up of programmes and projects affecting the whole organisation. The portfolio had a value of several hundred £m to the University, and included strategic digital and estates projects. I regularly met with the Vice-Chancellor (President/CEO) to review the health of the portfolio, presented to the Executive Board, and worked closely with senior stakeholders to shape new initiatives.I shaped the portfolio management response to the University's new strategy, driving creation of the Strategy Implementation Group. I also created and implemented a new tiered structure for the portfolio, introduced resource management and demand modelling, and supported the development of several new key strategic initiatives.

I served as a board director / trustee of a world-leading research University, with an annual turnover of ~£600m and contributing over £4bn to the UK economy every year. I worked with the most senior leadership in the organisation and other Council members (non-executive directors) to lead the organisation lead a complex organisation in a volatile landscape, and influencing the institution's strategic direction and response to policy.As part of my time on Council, I served as a member of the Estates and Infrastructure Committee, a sub-committee of Council, responsible for the development of the 10-year+ Estates Master-plan and overseeing key capital investment projects. I was also part of the Council Effectiveness Review working group, overseeing the work of an external agency taking stock of current practices and ensuring Council is operating effectively and appropriately.

I led the digital change portfolio of a world-leading research University, reporting to the Director of Customer Experience and responsible for a team of ~35 project managers, business and systems analysts, business change managers and other specialist roles. The digital change portfolio is key to the realisation of the digital strategy, containing programmes and projects affecting the whole organisation. The portfolio represented an investment of £10m per year, including substantial programmes on Cyber Security, CRM, Research Management, and High Performance Computing. I presented regularly to the IT Strategic Programme Board chaired by the COO (VP Operations), and worked closely with senior stakeholders to shape new digital initiatives.During my time in the role, I designed and implemented the new structure for the portfolio teams, responding to changes caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and introducing a new resource management capability for the IT portfolio teams.

Implementation, management and maintenance of a 700 seat, 1500 user network. I manage the IT/AV services team supporting all aspects of IT and AV equipment in the college. The network runs Linux, Windows, Netware and Mac servers.
