Pantry revolutionizes fresh food retail by providing an RFID-enabled, cloud-based software and hardware platform, which allows food producers to sell their fresh food without a cashier. Pantry's investors include Cowboy Ventures, Arsenal Ventures, Menlo Ventrues, 500 Startups, and Lemnos Labs.Pantry is live in 23 states, from the Big Island in Hawaii to Long Island in New York.Being the VP of Engineering at Pantry, I am the gatekeeper of all software related product and project initiatives. I lead a team of 7 software engineers and 1 designer, together we have built from the ground up a state-of-the-art Node.JS based real-time kiosk management system, Android-based POS system, distributed inventory and transactions management system, remote diagnostics system, manufacturing test system, online contract-signing system, data analytics system, and many more.Being a Co-Founder of the company, I am a member of the executive team, and I am responsible for all China-related investor and vendor relations.

Joined Redback Networks and went through the Ericsson acquisition of Redback. Grew from junior software engineer to technical lead. Coordinated efforts between platform team, hardware team, manufacturing team, and sales team in EMEA and APAC. Saw through the 8Tbps SSR 8000 routers from conception to worldwide deployment.

Developed a pedometer algorithm for Qualcomm prototype phones using a 3-axis accelerometer, before FitBit Inc was founded.

Developed an automated test system to measure the RF interference from laptop circuitry to embedded WiFi chips. The test was later named after me after I returned to school.
