I’m a PhD candidate at the university of Twente in the Robotics and Mechatronics (RaM) department. I work within the Next Gen In-Vivo project and my research focus is on continuum robotics, robotic control and minimal invasive surgery.

I support the work of a PhD candidate within the MURAB project. My focus is on ultrasound image-based feedback to maintain acoustic coupling during the automated robotic breast ultrasound acquisition and on safety aware robotic control during this scanning phase.

Development and validation of a controller for a tendon driven continuum robot for heart valve replacement. The controller is based on tendon tension feedback during movement of the continuum robots.

During my Bachelor of Engineering graduation internship, I developed and validated hardware components and software for a subcomponent (Trendo tracking sensor) of the ForceSense system. The ForceSense system provides training results and learning curves based on tissue interaction, instrument movements and task times.
