Alok Sharma has worked across media with experience in writing, directing, producing and developing for television, animation, feature films, radio, online content and comics. He founded Small Town Boys Studio, an IP Incubation Engine to develop new age content for Web, TV, Comics and feature films. He is the CCO and Co-Founder of Indusverse, India’s premium Graphic Novel brand. His debut Graphic Novel STUNT has received rave reviews from Industry stalwarts like Mark Millar. Alok created and wrote Zee5's Young Adult Show Fireflies : Parth aur Jugnu, one of the highest streamed shows of the year on the platform.Bulletproof Anand - Multiple awards winning short film Written & Directed by Alok, starring Jaaved Jaafery, Sanjay Mishra and Anshuman Jha has been appreciated for its quirky visual language and crisp direction.As the Showrunner at WARNER BROS DISCOVERY Alok produced their flagship shows – Little Singham and Fukrey Boyzzz. Alok also scripted some of the highest rated episodes of these shows.Alok has worked as an Animation Director/Creative Producer on Punjab Govt's Dastaan-E-Shahadat, a project that boasts of 120 Minutes of cutting-edge Photo Realistic 3D Animation. At Small Town Boys Studio, he is involved with the creation, development and direction of edgy content for some of the biggest players in the industry. Here produced and directed 'Blazing Bajirao' a graphic series for ErosNow and SLB Films to promote the Bollywood Blockbuster Bajirao Mastani. Until Dec 2017, he was associated with Graphic India as Vice President, where he Developed/Directed/Produced their flagship show - Astra Force starring Mr.Amitabh Bachchan. The show won the prestigious FICCI BAF awards 2016. Alok was instrumental in the development of other animated shows like Bahubali Adventures (Amazon Prime) and the development of Disney+ Hotstar blockbuster The Legend Of Hanuman.He was associated with The Cartoon Network Original - Roll No.21 and many other original successful IPs like Sholay Adventures (animated version of Sholay). He’s worked with Reliance's BIG Animation as an Asst. Director (Pre-production) where he played a key role in the development and writing of features and TV series - Little Krishna. Alok began his career with Gotham Comics as a comic book artist, in 2004. As an independent writer/content developer he is also dabbling in Film Writing and developing IPs for Web, TV and Cinema.
