- Business partner to the CFO (direct report), CEO, CPO and the senior leadership team, leading the delivery of operational plans that align the mission to the strategic goals, and overseeing the cross functional project teams tasked with driving strategy and delivering key initiatives. These range from delivering new customer experiences and products, to improving internal infrastructure to streamline processes.- Created a regular reporting rhythm providing clarity on progress towards strategic goals by establishing clear metrics and measures for success, reporting progress against them, and creating a feedback loop between senior leadership team and the project team leads.- Ensure that the various initiatives are coordinated and aligned to our strategy, that dependencies are understood, and barriers to success are removed quickly. - Improved the communication of strategic and operational goals to the wider company via presentations at quarterly ‘all hands’ (Sync) meetings, creating better visibility and understanding of organisational priorities.- Delivered a well-received culture change programme across the global business and maintain a leadership role in the culture change team.

- Reporting to CFO, worked closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Digital Marketing to model and forecast online revenue. - Regularly reported on digital performance to CFO and CEO and worked with a team of senior leaders and managers to develop strategic growth plans in response to the data.- Program managed cross functional operational teams to deliver key strategic objectives, tracking their performance against KPIs, e.g. the development of new music search and discovery tools to increase customer engagement on the platform, resulted in an increased CSAT score from high-value TV customers.- Identify, flag and resolve issues, acting as a liaison between the operational and senior leadership teams to ensure key project milestones are achieved.

- Reporting directly to global CFO, managed team of two in New York to improve end to end finance and operations functions for North America. Established new processes and internal controls to improve financial reporting, tax filings, cashflow forecasting, HR and payroll.- Key member of the US leadership team, helping to develop and drive both short- and long-term plans.- Led the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for the global company, played key role in modelling and communicating the first 3-year plan for the group.- Co-led project team for implementation of new global finance system SAP Business One in UK and North America, moving away from disparate systems and processes.

- Joined as 3rd person to finance team, by June 2014 managed UK Finance team with 3 direct reports (4 overall).- Led end to end finance processes, present monthly management report to the senior leadership team and Board. - Developed and implemented new processes to increase automation and efficiency across the finance team and reduce the time taken to close the month, this included the revenue recognition process, cost variance analysis reporting, accruals journals, and payments to composers.- Led the budgeting and forecasting process for the UK business, business partnering with functional leads.- Oversaw annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts

During my role at Evening Standard, a leading London publication, I was a key business partner to the Managing Editor providing financial analysis to support key decisions. This role became ever more crucial when 75% of the company was sold to a consortium led by Alexander Lebedev in February 2009, and soon after becoming a free publication for the first time in its 180 years.- Produced monthly management accounts, and partnered with the Managing Editor to analyse cost reports and agree actions needed as a result.- Producing daily ‘Flash’ sales and P&L reports for the directors and owners of the company - Planned and constructed zero-based budgets and communicated them to department managers and assistants- Produced revised forecasts through the year when initial assumptions changed (i.e. notably after the sale of the newspaper)
