During my senior year I worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the TRACE research lab at Clemson University. I was the lead developer on two tools that will be used for future research studies, including three starting Fall 2021. The first project was a React-based website that had a dynamic AI system on the backend feeding live responses to participants and recording their answers to ethical dilemmas before and after AI input. The second project was a more generalizable and extensible tool called Neocities that will be used in Fall 2021. This was a rework and redesign of a previously successful tool in the open-source game engine Godot. SALT is an award-winning cloud and technology provider with the FIRST Microsoft Azure Stack in the Caribbean. https://www.salt.ky/As a software development intern, I: • Designed and developed social and front-end user interface for a custom .Net MVC resource calculator (a new internal billing system to accommodate their rapid product growth) during this technical internship.• Developed my successful project with Azure Dev Ops and Visual Studio using JQuery, HTML5, CSS and BootStrap open-source to connect with a C# platform running a JSON based API with NoSQL tables stored in Azure Table and hosted within an Azure WebApp. • Gained experience with the entrepreneurial elements of the tech industry by joining workflow planning, client, and sales team meetings, fostering my ability to see both the business and technical sides of our numerous on-going and proposed projects.
