Also drove Form S-4 process on public-to-public merger with Avanex in 2009, resulting in the closing of this public-to-public merger 90 days after signing definitive agreement. With CFO, drove secondary offering at Oclaro in May 2010, raising $77 million, net – a deal that successfully priced on the day of the 2010 flash crash. Led renegotiation of Oclaro’s primary credit line in July 2011, upsizing facility from $25 million to $45 million and significantly improving key terms, including a 325 basis points reduction in the interest rate. In 2012, assisted in expanding the credit line to a $100 million facility. In December 2012, assisted in raising $25 million in secured convertible notes and the divestiture of two product families for $27 million.Responsibilities included treasury and insurance/risk management as well as shared responsibilities with CFO for SOX and Tax.
