Performed systems administration with emphasis on security for electronic medical records, EPIC. In depth knowledge of security templates to help troubleshoot various EPIC applications: InPatient, Ambulatory, Cadence Scheduling & Registration, and Hospital Outpatient Visit Registration. Promptly assist on site Analysts at medical centers throughout Southern California with troubleshooting of user profiles for the different applications. Create and modify user accounts for appropriate levels of access. Investigate and resolve security issues involving user's credentials and associated access. All modifications done to users thoroughly documented in Remedy IT Service Management with authorizations from Dept. Administrators. Also helped provide bridge support for application go-lives throughout Southern California. With a developed understanding of user security and workflow gained by working directly with different levels of end users from physicians, department administrators, medical and clerical staff, resolute users, and Evaluation & Management coders help to better insure the continuum of quality patient care. Provides support for all shifts, weekend and holiday staff members. Ensures policies and procedures were followed in gaining access or modification of end users' security in EPIC while maintaining appropriate compliance rules.

Provided technical support for medium to large businesses in Riverside, San Bernadino, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. Duties include LAN/WAN support both onsite and remote. Basic network administration. Active Directory : Creating user accounts, editing profiles, server backups, anti-virus/spyware maintenance, client installations both hardware and software.

Provided clients with in depth analysis of current network infrastructure and gives recommendations to improve efficiency and functionality in written and oral form. Tasks include but not limited to on-site technical support, troubleshooting, monitoring and configuration of new installations, and technical training for new and current employees.

Maintained and configured network connectivity for approximately 600 workstations. Ensured all computers were in good working order. Installed/configured necessary software, which included but not limited to operating systems and educational software. Created user names and assigned user rights on the workstations. Re-imaged workstations. Troubleshoot problems with the workstations. Maintained a clean and safe work environment. Assisted professors and students with technical problems. Repaired and configured computers that were inoperable.
