As the Managing Partner and Senior Consultant of Topsarge Business Solutions, I lead a team of experts who deliver training, professional services, and research solutions to federal agencies. With over 13 years of experience in this role, I am passionate about placing our mostly veteran workforce onsite with our government clients and watching them deliver our full capabilities. As a former noncommissioned officer and senior enlisted leader, I am the principal investigator and citizen scientist whose team conducts long-term behavioral science research on the development of enlisted leaders and the NCO Corps.In my work, I leverage my leadership skills and credentials in project management and business development to analyze, design and execute winning strategies that address the needs and challenges of our customers. Professionally, I am an ICF Level 2 (PCC) certified mentor coach, a training facilitator, and a public speaker. I deliver assessment-based and 360-degree feedback to managers and senior executives to create change one leader at a time.As a citizen historian and a published author, I have a deep understanding of the military culture, its history, and the men and women who serve the nation in war and peace. I serve as an appointed Chair of the Bell County Historical Commission. In my other philanthropic roles, I serve as a Senior Fellow at the Association of the United States Army, and as the Chair of the Board for the Institute for Advanced NCO Leadership.
