RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.At RAINN, I:• Work closely with VPs, directors, and program staff to package ongoing programs and services and develop concepts and cases of support for new and current initiatives.• Develop and implement a clear annual plan for moving prospects along to secure and increase sponsorships and grants, utilizing personal visits, meetings, proposals, and other forms of outreach as appropriate.• Manages a portfolio of 100+ prospects and concentrates on five to seven-figure grants and gifts. • Spearheaded and served as the lead on foundation and multi-stakeholder corporate partnership development. • Write customized letters of inquiry, grant and sponsorship proposals; prepare federal government grant requests and responses to RFPs; other collateral and communications to secure funding and support survivors of sexual violence.• Work in Salesforce to track foundation and corporate information, grants, and funds.

“Goght Community Resource Center” offers a safe and vibrant space where community members can: • Use computer resources to search for jobs, develop a CV, and/or attend employment and training seminars;• Participate in educational sessions including gender equality and women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, childhood development, and family planning; • Gain access to educational textbooks, prep for college, and/or personal development;• Organize public meetings, fitness activities, and entertainment. The center was developed and implemented through a grant partnered with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and is currently sustained through a contract with the local government. A strong believer that talent is universal but opportunities are not, Goght Community Resource Center provides two small scholarships for youth between the ages of 13-18 years old to embark on their personal and professional aspirations.

Since its founding in 1965, FLOC has served more than 10,000 children and youth and has become one of the most respected nonprofits in the Greater Washington Area.I understand first hand the positive impacts of organizations such as FLOC, and it is a complete joy to be part of a dedicated team providing resources to children and youth, resources that had also helped shape me into the person I am today. At FLOC, I:• Worked with the executive team on the development and implementation of different strategies to secure and increase the organization’s operating budget;• Managed Raiser's Edge for the purpose of tracking proposals, grants, and foundation’s information;• Supported staff with coordination of FLOC's signature events, fundraisers, and programming; • Developed materials for social media, blog, and annual report;• Created and submitted introductory letters, memos, grants, proposals and other collateral and communications to secure funding for a $2.1 million project supporting children and youth’s out-of-school time learning.

Founded in 1946 as a not-for-profit organization, AIR conducts their work with strict independence, objectivity and non-partisanship. At AIR, I:• Support AIR’s Assessment proposal development including; coordinating entire lifecycle of proposal process from identifying bid opportunities and leading kickoff meetings, to tracking proposal development and submitting final proposals. • Assist Proposal Manager and Proposal Lead with writing section drafts, gathering resumes, creating organizational charts, and complete annex sections for technical proposals. • Conduct in-depth review and quality control for proposal submission. Ensure proposal content aligns with requirements of RFPs. • Communicate with technical team and proposal writers to ensure internal deadlines are met. Coordinate day-to-day proposal production activities, including scheduling proposal production plans and associated resources for final production. • Oversee submission of final proposals for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and Best and Final Offers.

As New England’s largest supportive services to veterans and their families, Veterans Inc.'s mission is to help this unique population achieve and maintain healthy, productive, and independent lives.As a granddaughter to a United States Vietnam veteran, I am constantly questioning and wrestling with my moral responsibility to our service members. At Veterans Inc., my role allows me to:• Research, develop, and write proposals, concept papers, grant solicitations, and supporting documents to secure funding for a $12.7 million project aimed at veterans homelessness prevention. • Prepare accurate progress reports for grant funded projects, and ensure agency compliance with reporting procedures.

Jeanne X. Kasperson Research Library offers one of the most extensive collections in North America on environmental risk and hazards, international development and sustainability, water resources and environmental technology, energy policy, and the human dimensions of global environmental change. I had the privilege to support scholars as they challenge convention and passionately develop innovate solutions to world problems. I assisted undergraduate and graduates on research projects, literature reviews, and archival processing of library materials. Additionally, I managed hours of operations and provided administrative support to the Director.

The Community Development and Planning Services at CMRPC provide direct technical assistance to each of Massachusetts’ 40 member communities, as well as regional planning initiatives. The division works with communities on generating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) maps and data, develop Open Space and Green Communities Plans, and develop Master Plan elements. • MassEnergyInsight (MEI) • Work with municipalities in Central Massachusetts to become "Green Communities," effectively reduce energy use and carbon footprint by 20%. • Work with municipalities in Central Massachusetts on "Community Development Block Grants," a federally competitive grant designed to help small cities and towns meet a range of community development needs. • Assist municipalities in Central Massachusetts apply for the Department of Energy Resource's (DOER) Municipal Energy Technical Assistance (META) grant, to aid in the management and development of energy projects.

At Heifer International Vietnam, I had the honor to work with a devoted team to implement educational resources to help small-scale farmers secure sustainable livelihoods opportunities, partnering with the Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Women's Unions, and Farmers' Associations. • Traveled to field sites to collect and record data, interviewed 120 households in Heifers Vietnam projects for research on the impact of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).• Coded and verified data in accordance with specified research protocol and coding procedures, and entered data into excel for subsequent analysis.• Wrote assessment reports for Heifer Vietnam and participant stories for Heifer donors.

Shared Worlds is a unique research project of Clark University’s Department of International Development, Community, and Environment that explores the relationships between U.S. and foreign-born residents in Worcester. The study aims to broaden the conversation on issues of social belonging and community engagement, with a goal of developing an inclusive report on community integration in Worcester, Massachusetts.

• Provided training and over 700 hours of teaching in Armenia's secondary schools encompassing 10 teachers and 300 students. • Improved host country colleagues’ English proficiency and teaching methodologies through ‘Trainer for TEFL Teachers’ seminars.• Developed afterschool and summer youth programs to launch exploration of gender equality and women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, technology for development, volunteerism, youth as resources, and people with disabilities for 200 youth to emphasize the importance of civil society advocators.

Through innovative programming that combines education, positive youth development, and martial arts, Zhang Sah supports and empowers individuals as they develop self-confidence, improve concentration, overcome anxiety, and build character. • Oversaw program staff, operations, services, and monitored implementation plan to ensure activities are within established timeframes and in compliance with related requirements.• Organized and attended weekly department meetings to maintain effective communication and program agendas. • Formed partnerships with 6 Philadelphia elementary schools, to increase the number of participants in the organization.• Developed curriculum for 5 team leaders and 60 youth, including Project Based Learning (PBL) • Managed and monitored monthly, quarterly, and annual program statistics.
