Torben have many years of experience from ocean going vessel on all 7 oceans. Torben have been a Chief Officer for 13 years, thus a part of senior management for a long time, with lots of management experience on supervisor level and good interpersonal skills with many different people under various circumstances, yards, crane operations, daily maintenance, general cargo operations, liquid cargo operations, maintenance on hydraulic systems and lifting appliances etc. He recognizes the importance of team building and considers himself a team player, who also can work alone for long periods if this is the nature of the job. He follows best practice in the oil industry and appreciates the high safety and environmental standards the industry sets. Torben’s experience includes; several dry-docking’s, conversion of a conventional tanker to a DP2 shuttle tanker, new building of 2 DP2 shuttle tankers, FMEA testing, DP trails, DP setup for shuttle tankers, starting two DP2 shuttle tankers up for service.
