In EPOS|Sennheiser I have been program manager for speakerphones. I had resources both internal (DK, CH and HK) og external in India (SW). In total a team of ~40 people. I was main contact to OEM/EMS partner in China and handled RFQ, protoype builds, setting op production etc. From 2016 to 2020, I launched 6 products in Sennheiser|EPOSBeside schedule, budget and resources, I was also responsible for driving RFQ process, sourcing in general, QA/QC and direct contact to product management, Test Production, Supply Chain and Strategic Alliance departments.When I started in EPOS|Sennheiser there was a very high demand for a new speakerphone on the market. So, I investigated improvements in the process, aligned with the management team and made a fast running project where we ensured a solid project start with high quality in the first build. The product was launch according to my first committed schedule. The project was internal pilot for Teams certification. It is covering larger meeting rooms as EXPAND30 and have a much better dereverberation. It includes superior duplex communication, 6 microphones, advanced DSP code, low distortion speaker, suspended speaker chamber, fabrics and, 2 kensington locks. Schedule was reduced ½ year to ensure date launch. Challenging, hard work and fun.

Unfortunately, this was a short employment as it was not possible for me to work within project management as agreed.My role should have been as project manager (external consultant), but because of lack of costumers, I started two internal projects in DAVINCI. One project was to establish an ISO13465 Quality Management SystemA need for a dedicated system for resource and project planning was evident. I was responsible for identifying and selecting a system and to redefine the project development process from contact to customer to finished project.

Because Auditdata acquired Otovation, my responsibilities became reduced and I started to search for new great challengesIn May 2015 Auditdata acquired Otovation and I started to work for Auditdata. In this position I still had the same responsibilities in Otovation, while we did a transition to Auditdata.Auditdata develops and sell advanced diagnostic products (PC SW/HW/FW) for the hearing care industry worldwide.I was responsible for the Operations part of the business. We had an ISO13485 EMS that produced and calibrated our products and I ensured that the production was running. I coordinated the forecast between Sales and the EMS. Also, I improved the quality and deliverables significantly of one D supplier. In the short period, I was also responsible for two HW/mech development projects, where I released one of them (Primus Pro).

Otovation develops and sell advanced diagnostic products (PC SW/HW/FW) for the hearing care industry worldwide.Otovation consisted of two companies; Otovation LLC (US) and Otovaion DK. In Otovation, I started as a Senior Project Manager, but became responsible for R&D, Quality and Operation over time including line management responsibility for 4 employees in the US office. Regarding development, I had a team of 4 SW resources (2 in US and 2 in DK) and an external development partner for the HW/FW.During that time, I was responsible for 3 (PC) SW releases (Symphony 2.1.1., 2.2 and 3.0), two HW products (Otopro and Otospere), start up of internal calibration/production for one product (Otopro), transfer of production to an EMS and made a business case for R&D, Operation and Quality.

In Cryptera I was responsible for development of encrypted Pin Pads for ATMs and petrol stations from preproject to closure of the project. I was the overall Customer Project Manager, i.e. main contact to our customers and responsible for the Project Master Plan. I was responsible for some of the biggest costumers (Gilbarco and Wincor Nixdorf). I had the full responsibility for the R&D part (electronics/mechanics/software) but also ensured that all tasks within in the program was running as scheduled. Hence, I’m ensured deliverables from Product Managers, PTA/production, Key Account managers and QA.I was responsible for a wide range of projects in all phases; pinpads, production SW and evaluation of security processors. Additionally I was cowriter to a stage gate development model for development projects. In a period of time I was responsible for 7 concurring projects.

In Nokia I developed mobile phones and was HW Project Manager with focus on cost, high volumeand quality. As a HW Project Manager, I was responsible for product development for the electronics parts in the phone. I was HW Concept Project Manager most of the time. In the concept phase, my responsibilities were to transform the industrial design intent to a 3D concept ready for maturing. Also included in my responsibilities was planning, risk assessment, preparation of builds, test, build maturity reviews and ensure high quality and readiness for ramp up. I was driving several cross functional tasks.

In Novo Nordisk I was part of a department that developed concepts for insulin delivery with focus on safety and quality.My responsibility was to develop and mature concept platforms and make 1:1 full functional proto types for delivery devices for implementation in product programs. My projects included mechanics, electronics and embedded SW.I presented the achievements and functionality of the proto types for the management team on Project Reviews or focus groups. I was EMC responsible and beside being a member of the “EMC Klubben” at Delta, I established ESD/EMC test facilities for standardized ESD test and EMC test including a GTEM cell.I wrote a SOP for external SW development.

I started as a Baseband (electronics) designer and later I was appointed team leader of the project team that Included 1-5 designers. I was responsible for maturing the electronics part of the phone and ramping up the product. My tasks was planning, risk assessment and milestone reviews for the Project Management Team.I also validated suppliers in Asia and was a part of a team that ramped up phones in productions in different countries.
